Powerboat Level 2 Direct Assessment
If you have already gained extensive experience driving Powerboats on tidal and non-tidal waters, you may feel that the Direct Assessment option works for you.
Direct Assessment is a dedicated three hour exam, both practical and written, to demonstrate your ability to meet the RYA’s Powerboat Level 2 course syllabus. There is no teaching on the Direct Assessment and the instructor is only there to assess your ability and decide whether an RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate should be awarded.
No teaching is included so if you feel some time with an instructor before the test would help, you may want to instead choose our RYA Powerboat Level 2 Direct Assessment with Refresher
